Hello! My name is Francesca, born in 1985, and I’m a digital artist from Italy.
I’ve loved drawing since I was a child, and japanese animation played a crucial role in shaping my style and inspiring my early works. I was particularly influenced by the works of Masakazu Katsura, Yoshiyuki Sadamoto, Tetsuya Nomura, Hyung Tae-Kim, Loish, Rose Besch as well as the stories of Hayao Miyazaki and Satoshi Kon.After completing classical studies, I attended a three-year course in a comic school, where I had the honor of studying with teachers like Yoshiko Watanabe, a former student of Osamu Tezuka. Later, I took a one-year course in digital coloring, realizing that filling a blank canvas is my favorite way of expressing myself.
After working on some freelance projects, I stopped drawing for a short period. Later, I decided to give myself another chance and I began to post my art on Tumblr, Instagram and various social media, and I was happy to see how much love and support people had for my work. I had the opportunity to take part in very interesting projects and start selling my merchandise for the first time. In 2022, I decided to open my shop on Etsy to sell merchandise from my art like stickers, keychains, phone grips, tote bags and other accessories.Through the years I had to reinvent myself several times, always trying to give happiness and positive messages through my art. I’m always grateful to those who support me, as they are the engine that keeps my passion alive! ♡
